Just got back to Chicago from traveling around Turkey and Greece. Istanbul was incredible, haggled, got had, bought some rugs. One day we took the wrong ferry and ended up in front of a camera store. Film and processing was so cheap I bought every roll of 35mm they had, and processed negatives for $1.50. Cappadoccia was amazing, stayed in a cave and explored ancient cities. Greece was in their off season, zero tourists so unfortunately motorcycles weren’t available so we rented 125cc scooters instead. With no one on the road, we explored mountain towns, abandoned resorts, and ancient cities without bus loads of people taking the same pictures we were. The 35mm camera I bought half double exposed a lot of images actually making unintentional panoramas, hell yeah.
